THE PLACE WHERE JESUS CHRIST IS LORD
Ambassador for Christ Ministries, Inc.
Weekly Bible Study
20/ Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
1/ This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. 2/ Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 3/ I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. 4/ My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. 5/ Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.
16/ “Behold, I have created the blacksmith
Who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work;
And I have created the spoiler to destroy.
17/ No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.
1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-31 NIV
26/ Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27/ But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28/ God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29/ so that no one may boast before him. 30/ It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31/ Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
1 CORINTHIANS 4:9-13 KJV
9/ For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. 10/ We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. 11/ Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; 12/ And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: 13/ Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things unto this day.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 KJV
9/And he said unto me,
MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THEE: FOR MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
PHILIPPIANS 3:14 KJV
JOHN 15:16 KJV
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
MATTHEW 10:36-38 KJV
36/ and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37/ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38/ And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39/ He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
MARK 10:28-30 NKJV
28/ Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” 29/ So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30/ who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
JOHN 15:3 KJV *
3/ NOW YE ARE CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD WHICH I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU.
ROMANS 6:11 NLT
SO YOU SHOULD CONSIDER YOURSELVES DEAD TO SIN AND ABLE TO LIVE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.
1/ After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. 2/ Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. 3/ Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. 4/ Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. 5/ But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6/ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. 7/ And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8/ Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. 9/ And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10/ But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11/ ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’ 12/ But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.
Woe to the Impenitent Cities 13/ “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14/ But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15/ And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.
16/ He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”
The Seventy Return with Joy
17/ Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18/ And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19/ Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20/ Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
Jesus Rejoices
in the Spirit
21/ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
NOTE:
The above scripture is referring to Our Heavenly Father's way of revealing Himself to everyone, whether we are highly educated with wisdom according to the world's standards, or have never learned to read and write. It is by His Spirit; the spiritual mind of Christ that we all receive at the moment of salvation, which enables us to know God and His will. We can not learn about, or understand God, who is a Spirit, by worldly knowledge or human intellect.
Romans 8:7 NKJV
7/ Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
NOTE: carnal or fleshly mind definitions .
SOME MAY ASK, "SO DOES GOD WANT HIS PEOPLE TO BE WISE AND EDUCATED WITH EARTHLY KNOWLEDGE, TOO?"
HE MOST CERTAINLY DOES!
HOSEA 4:6, 14 NIV
6/my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. 14/ .........people without understanding will come to ruin!
MATTHEW 10:16 NKJV
16/ “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

"MORE OF MY TESTIMONY"
[1st part of "My Testimony" in WBS #107 "Loving Jesus" My Testimony]
After surrendering to the call of JESUS, and receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in fiery power, later that same year the LORD directed me to take my Bible at night and go to underground public transportation train stations where homeless persons were staying to escape the harsh coldness of winter weather. I was told by the LORD not to be afraid of the people {I do admitt my knees were knocking together in rapid succession the first time I went. BUT I WAS SENT, SO I WENT. I experienced a horrible demonic presence there like nothing describable in this world.}. JESUS put an absolute knowing in my spirit that He is with me and that nothing and no one would be able to hurt me in any way. He told me to simply go to these underground places at night, tell the homeless people there "JESUS LOVES YOU", ask if they would like me to read the Bible to them, then ask if they would like to ask Jesus to come into their heart to be their Lord and Savior. I was so suprised to find out that many people I encountered were eager to hear the word of God and give their heart to JESUS. There were also people there that did not want to hear anything about God from me; but they were few compared to those who did. I was taught by the Lord to respect their right not to hear about Him from me and move on to find anyone who did want me to share the Gospel and prayer for salvation with them. JESUS is loving and quite a gentleman. He does not force Himself on anyone. He knocks on the door of our heart and asks us to let Him come in.
REVELATION 3:20 NKJV "BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK. IF ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM AND DINE WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME.
During the day, the Lord led me to study scriptures in the Bible, but to also prepare to take the GED test to obtain my High School diploma. I had dropped out of High School after completing the 10th grade. I tried many times to go back, but was unsuccessful because of unstable emotions coupled with a drinking problem; also, being in lack without the proper clothes to wear and not able to think straight sometimes just from being hungry. I felt these conditions were stumbling blocks that hindered me from being consistent, or achieving anthing good. However, now, with the help of the Holy Spirit, who keeps my emotions in check, empowers me to walk by faith in God's Word that says I CAN do all things THROUGH CHRIST, opens my understanding of things I'm trying to learn, and brings to my mind the appropriate, powerful, transforming Word of God, or scripture, that I need to focus on when going about accomplishing a goal.
Scriptures like:
Jude 1:24 NLT 24/ Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.
Philippians 4:12, 13 NLT 12/ I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13/ For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. So with God's help, I obtained my High School Diploma and was so happy that I finally accomplished a goal I had kept in my mind for many years to do. With this basic achievement, {WHICH WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME} other doors of opportunity opened up to go on to higher learning and be eligible to apply for more jobs with better pay and benefits.
I GIVE MYSELF TO YOU GOD! USE ME FOR YOUR GLORY & YOUR HONOR! IN JESUS NAME I PRAY. AMEN
