For those whose moms aren't with them; always remember Jesus will be a mother & father to you if you want Him to. You are so loved by God. He knows your story and He has a divine assignment and plan for your life.

To Better understand Genesis Chapter 6, we will quote from some of the ancient writings from: "The Book of  Enoch"-Fragment of the Book of Noah

 FROM THE BOOK OF ENOCH - FRAGMENT OF THE BOOK OF NOAH

 CHAPTER CVI.

•  1. And after some days my son Methuselah took a wife for his son Lamech, and she became pregnant by him and bore a son.
• 2. And his body was white as snow and red as the blooming of a rose, and the hair of his head and his long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful. And when he opened his eyes, he lighted up the whole house like the sun, and the whole house was very bright.
• 3. And thereupon he arose in the hands of the midwife, opened his mouth, and conversed with the Lord of righteousness.
• 4. And his father Lamech was afraid of him and fled, and came to his father Methuselah.
• 5. And he said unto him: 'I have begotten a strange son, diverse from and unlike man, and resembling the sons of the God of heaven; and his nature is different and he is not like us, and his eyes are as the rays of the sun, and his countenance is glorious.
• 6. And it seems to me that he is not sprung from me but from the angels, and I fear that in his days a wonder may be wrought on the earth.
• 7. And now, my father, I am here to petition thee and implore thee that thou mayest go to Enoch, our father, and learn from him the truth,  for his dwelling-place is amongst the angels.'
• 8. And when Methuselah heard the words of his son, he came to me to the ends of the earth; for he had heard that I was there, and he cried aloud, and I heard his voice and I came to him. And I said unto him: 'Behold, here am I, my son, wherefore hast thou come to me?'
• 9. And he answered and said: 'Because of a great cause of anxiety have I come to thee, and because of a disturbing vision have I approached.
• 10. And now, my father, hear me: unto Lamech my son there hath been born a son, the like of whom there is none, and his nature is not like man's nature, and the colour of his body is whiter than snow and redder than the bloom of a rose, and the hair of his head is whiter than white wool, and his eyes are like the rays of the sun, and he opened his eyes and thereupon lighted up the whole house.

• 11. And he arose in the hands of the midwife, and opened his mouth and blessed the Lord of heaven. 12. And his father Lamech became afraid and fled to me, and did not believe that he was sprung from him, but that he was in the likeness of the angels of heaven; and behold I have come to thee that thou mayest make known to me the truth.'

• 13. And I, Enoch, answered and said unto him: 'The Lord will do a new thing on the earth, and this I have already seen in a vision, and make known to thee that in the generation of my father Jared some of the angels of heaven transgressed the word of the Lord.
• 14. And behold they commit sin and transgress the law, and have united themselves with women and commit sin with them, and have married some of them, and have begot children by them. 17?. And they shall produce on the earth giants not according to the spirit, but according to the flesh, and there shall be a great punishment on the earth, and the earth shall be cleansed from all impurity. 15. Yea, there shall come a great destruction over the whole earth, and there shall be a deluge and a great destruction for one year. 16. And this son who has been born unto you shall be left on the earth, and his three children shall be saved with him: when all mankind that are on the earth shall die [he and his sons shall be saved]. 18. And now make known to thy son Lamech that he who has been born is in truth his son, and call his name Noah; for he shall be left to you, and he and his sons shall be saved from the destruction, which shall come upon the earth on account of all the sin and all the unrighteousness, which shall be consummated on the earth in his days. 19. And after that there shall be still more unrighteousness than that which was first consummated on the earth; for I know the mysteries of the holy ones; for He, the Lord, has showed me and informed me, and I have read (them) in the heavenly tablets.

Genesis 6:1-22 NKJV

The Wickedness and Judgment of Man

1/ Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2/ that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful;

and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.

• [Here the "sons of God", is referring to fallen angels mating with human women during the pre flood era. In the Book of Enoch 7:3, these angels are referred to as the "sons of heaven". An Aramaic text calls them "Watchers".   
• THE FALLEN ANGEL INTERPRETATION [information obtained from bible.org/seriespage/7-sons-god-and-daughters-men-genesis-61-8 written by Robert L. (Bob)Deffinbaugh.] 
  According to this view, the ‘sons of God’ of verses 2 and 4 are fallen angels, which have taken the form of masculine human-like creatures. These angels married women of the human race (either Cainites or Sethites) and the resulting offspring were the Nephilim. The Nephilim were giants with physical superiority and therefore established themselves as men of renown for their physical prowess and military might. This race of half human creatures was wiped out by the flood, along with mankind in general, who were sinners in their own right (verse 6:11,12). ]

However, during the post flood era some rulers were identified as the son of a particular god. In Egypt, for example, the king was called the son of Re {varient of Ra * Ra (Re) was the primary name of the sun god of Ancient Egypt.}.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for God, Elohim, is used for men in positions of authority:
God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers (literally, the gods, Psalm 82:1, cf. also 82:6).
This interpretation, like the fallen angel view, has its roots in antiquity. According to this approach the ‘sons of God’ are nobles, aristocrats, and kings. 

3/ And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”  4/ There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them.

Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

5/ Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6/ And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7/ So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8/ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah Pleases God

9/ This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. 10/ And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11/ The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12/ So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

The Ark Prepared

13/ And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14/ Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. 15/ And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. 16/ You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.

  17/ And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. 18/ But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. 19/ And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. 20/ Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.  

21/ And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them.”

 22/ Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. 

Matthew 24:37-38 NIV

37/ As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38/ For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39/ and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 

Luke 17:26-27 NIV

26/ “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27/ People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
