SCRIPTURES PRINTED IN RED, ARE WORDS SPOKEN BY JESUS
The 23rd Psalm NKJV
1/ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
When we make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of our lives, He gives us guidance and direction for daily living. He shepherds us and provides all of our needs (food, shelter, clothing etc.) as we seek His guidance first (please read Matthew 6:33 NKJV). Jesus tells us in John 10:14 thru 18 NKJV, that He is “The Good Shepherd” who laid His life down for the sheep [ His followers].
2/ He makes me to lie down in green
pastures:
He leads me beside the still waters,
Green is symbolic of prosperity. The Bible let's us know in Psalm 35:27 NKJV, that the LORD has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. Also 3rd John 2 NKJV states, “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Still waters are symbolic of peace and tranquility. In the midst of stormy trials we can turn to Jesus to give us peace. He said,
“Peace, be still”
to the storm His disciples were facing (Mark 4:39), and there was great calm. Philippians 4:7 KJV says, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
3/ He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Jeremiah 30:17 (NKJV) states, *For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, Because they called you an outcast [ Even though this was a Word spoken to Israel and Judah (Jeremiah 30:3) by God through the prophet Jeremiah in the Old testament; It applies to, and can be internalized by, New Testament born again believers in JESUS CHRIST.].
His word leads and guides us on the straight and narrow path (Please look up and read the two following scriptures that confirm this statement: Psalm 119:105 NKJV, & Matthew 7:13,14 NKJV.
4/ Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
2nd Timothy 1:7 NKJV * 7/ For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
For you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Matthew 1:23 KJV Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US.
John 14:20 NKJV "At that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
God's rod and staff that comforts us is the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us in John 14:26 KJV "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, shall teach you all things,
5/ You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies; You anoint my
head with oil; My cup runs over.
Luke 6:27 NKJV * 27/ “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you-- Romans 12:19 thru 21KJV 19/ Beloved do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord. 20/ Therefore “ If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you heap coals of fire on his head.” 21/ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
6/ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
me all the days of my life; And I will
dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Psalm 122:1 (KJV) I was glad when they said unto me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
GALATIONS 6:9-10 NLT
9/ SO DON'T GET TIRED OF DOING WHAT IS GOOD. DON'T GET DISCOURAGED AND GIVE UP, FOR WE WILL REAP A HARVEST OF BLESSING AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME.
10/ WHENEVER WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY, WE SHOULD DO GOOD TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY TO OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
The 23rd Psalm NKJV

2/ He makes me to lie down in green
pastures:

3/ He restores my soul; He leads me in the

4/ Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For you are with me; Your rod and your
staff, they comfort me.
5/ You prepare a table before me in the
