Exodus 9:1 KJV * Then the LORD {the LORD in the KJV Bible and other Bibles was substituted for YAHWEH which was later translated into English as JEHOVAH. These facts stated are in no way meant to discredit the KJV Bible,or other Bibles but to make known our Heavenly Father's feeling about His people (Hebrew Israelites) in the Old Testament & remnant in the End Times, remembering His name that is hallowed or sacred and used for religious purposes} said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD {YAHWEH} God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.



The Hebrew language was the language of the Jews in biblical times and it is currently the official language of Jews in Israel today.  Most of the Old Testament was written in Hebrew. The Hebrew language is one of the Canaanitic subgroup of the Semitic group of the Afro-Asian family of African languages.

A descendant of the Early Hebrew alphabet still in use is the Samaritan writing.

HEBREW LANGUAGES

A large family of languages spoken in northern Africa and southwest Asia, comprising the Semitic, Chadic, Cushitic, Berber, Omotic, and ancient Egyptian languages; formerly known as Hamito-Semitic.

Hamitic tongues are or were spoken in N Africa, much of the Sahara, the Horn of E Africa, and parts of central and W Africa. They were named after Ham, the youngest son of the biblical Noah [Genesis 9:24 KJV], whose descendants were the original speakers of the Hamitic languages.

The Semitic languages are named after Shem or Sem, the middle son or next to the oldest son of Noah, [Japheth the elder, Genesis 10:21 KJV], Shem from whom most of the languages speakers were said to be descended.   An example of a Northeast Semitic language is called Assyro-Babylonian. The principal subdivisions of the Northwest Semitic group are Canaanite, Ugaritic, and Aramaic.  The term Canaanite is derived from Canaan, the name for the ancient region that included Palestine, Phoenicia, and part of Syria.  Included among the Canaanite languages are Phoenician, Moabite, and Hebrew.  According to a Greek tradition the Phoenicians passed on their alphabet to the Greeks.

The Phoenicians called themselves Canaan or Kana’an. 

It was the Greeks who called them the Phoenicians (Phoiníkē, Φοινίκη, purple) after their purple dye.

Phonetics, phonics, phonology, etc, all come from the word Phoenician, and Bible comes from the Greek biblion (Βίβλος, a paper, scroll or book) a diminutive of Byblos, after the Phoenician city-state, which was the ancient Canaanite city called Gebal in the Hebrew language}

The Phoenician city of Gebal {Hebrew} was named Byblos by the Greeks, because it was through Gebal that papyrus Bύβλος (bublos; Egyptian papyrus) was imported into Greece. Hence the English word Bible is derived from byblos as "the (papyrus) book." The present day city is now known by the Arabic name Jubayl or Jbeil (جبيل), a direct descendant of the Canaanite name.

AND HIS SON Called JEHOVAH & JESUS by many English speaking Christians & others.JESUS SAID IN JOHN 10:30 KJV,"I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE" 

The original Hebrew names of God the Creator & His Son are stated in this Bible Study as well as the English names.  Yahweh was translated into English as Jehovah. * Yahshua was translated into English as Jesus.

We have victory in Jesus no matter what we've been through in the past, or what ever we're going through now, or shall go through in the future. So keep the faith and be encouraged, knowing that in every situation, or challenge we face in life, we are more than conquerors, through Christ Jesus who loves us {Romans 8:37}.

1st Corinthians 15:57, 58 KJV * 57/But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  58/therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
