WHAT IS THE GODHOOD STATE?

• THE GODHOOD [man god * son of God] STATE, IS THE ESSENCE OF GOD'S CHARACTER OR SPIRITUAL NATURE, DEVELOPED AND BROUGHT INTO SPIRITUAL MATURITY IN MAN [male/female].

{DEFINITION FOR ESSENCE :

• 1/INTRINSIC OR INDISPENSABLE PROPERTIES THAT SERVE TO CHARACTERIZE OR IDENTIFY SOMETHING OR SOMEONE 

DEFINITION FOR ESSENCE CONTINUED

• 2/INHERENT, UNCHANGING NATURE - 'MALACHI 3:6 "I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT"'
• 3/THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT, THE CRUCIAL ELEMENT OF A THING OR PERSON - 'LOVE' "GOD IS LOVE"}

FOR THIS BIBLE SUDY SERIES WE WILL PASSIONATELY DELVE INTO ENTERING SPIRITUAL MATURITY-THE GODHOOD STATE:

• BECOMING AND LIVING AS SONS OF GOD {MALE OR FEMALE} ON EARTH; [John 1:12 KJV * 12/ But as many as received him {JESUS} , to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:   
• GOD'S HEIRS AND JOINT HEIRS WITH JESUS CHRIST, WHOSE LIVES BRING GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WHILE LIVING ON EARTH; [Romans 8:16-19 NKJV * 16/ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17/and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

From Suffering to Glory

• 18/ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19/ For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.]

1 Peter 4:1 thru 19 NKJV

• 1/ Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2/that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.  3/ For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.  4/ In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.  5/ They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead .  6/ For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Serving for God’s Glory

• 7/ But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.  8/ And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9/ Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.  10/ As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  11/ If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.   If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Suffering for God’s Glory

• 12/ Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;  13/ but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.  14/ If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.  On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.  15/ But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.  16/ Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.  17/ For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?  18/ Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”  19/ Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

•  Galatians 2:15, 16 KJV * 15/ We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16/ Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

• Galatians 4:1-7 KJV * 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
  4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

• Romans 8:14 NKJV * 14/ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. [male or female]
