IN THIS LIFE AS WE ARE BEING PROCESSED & TRANSFORMED BY GOD TO FULFILL OUR DESTINY ON EARTH, WE EACH WILL GO THROUGH DARK PLACES WHERE SOMETIMES THINGS, SITUATIONS, OR EVEN PEOPLE, HURT YOU SO BAD UNTIL YOU FEEL LIKE GOD HAS LEFT YOU, OR THAT YOU WANT TO LEAVE GOD & JUST DIE.  SOMETIMES PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND MENTAL PAIN CAN MAKE YOU WANT TO HARDEN YOUR HEART & STOP BELIEVING IN GOD, WHO IS LOVE.

BUT DON'T LOOSE HEART OR GIVE IN TO THOSE FEELINGS. FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH {REVIEW WBS #116 "THE FAITH FIGHT"} 

Jesus Predicts Simon Peter’s Denial and prays for Peter's faith not to fail as Father God processes Peter in a dark place; transforming him from disciple to Apostle of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Luke 22:31-32 NKJV 31/ And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32/ But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

KNOW & REMEMBER THAT JESUS IS PRAYING & INTERCEEDING FOR YOU.

Romans 8:34 NIV . 34/ Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 

 GOD IS WITH YOU IN THE DARK PLACES TO BRING YOU OUT, AND MAKE YOU, & THINGS FOR YOU, BETTER THAN IF YOU HAD NOT GONE THROUGH THE DARK PLACES.

SPEAK GOD'S WORD WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF SITTING IN A DARK PLACE, KNOWING THAT IT'S ONLY TEMPORARY. 

RECEIVE STRENGTH TO ENDURE THE HARD TIMES BY CONFESSING GOD'S WORD:

1. GOD IS WITH ME EVEN THOUGH I HURT SO BAD IT FEELS LIKE HE ISN'T. {Jesus knows and understands these feelings very well. He experienced them first hand in His dark place on the cross at Calvary when He cried out My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?

   Matthew 27:46 NKJV  46/ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

2. I WALK BY FAITH IN GOD'S WORD THAT SAYS HE WILL NEVER LEAVE ME OR FORSAKE ME. I DON'T WALK BY HOW THINGS LOOK OR HOW I FEEL, BUT BY FAITH IN GOD'S WORD.        
3. I CAST ALL OF MY CARES & MY WEAKNESSES ON GOD BECAUSE HE SAID I CAN.
4. GOD'S STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN MY WEAKNESS.
5. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. PHILIPPIANS 4:13
6. EVEN IF, OR WHEN I DO MESS UP, OR MAKE WRONG DECISIONS, I ACKNOWLEDGE/CONFESS, I'VE DONE WRONG; THEN  REPENT AND RECEIVE FORGIVENESS  KNOWING THAT I AM STILL IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST JESUS MY LORD & SAVIOR, WHO JUSTIFIES ME AND MY ACTIONS, & COVERS MY SINS IN HIS BLOOD .

   1 John 1:5-10 NKJV 5/ This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6/ If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7/ But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8/ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9/ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10/ If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

   Romans 8:28-33 NIV28/ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29/ For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30/ And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 31/ What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32/ He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33/ Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?It is God who justifies.

7. GOD IS NOT MAD AT ME. HE PROMISED NOT TO BE ANGRY WITH ME ANYMORE, OR EVER REMOVE HIS COVENANT OF PEACE FROM OFF OF ME.

   Isaiah 54:9-10 NIV9/ “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again 10/ Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassionon you.  

8. I WILL WAIT PATIENTLY ON THE LORD; FOR HE WILL GUIDE & DIRECT MY STEPS. 

IN DARK PLACES, OR TRAUMATIC PERIODS IN OUR LIVES, TRANSFORMATION IS TAKING PLACE, AS GOD CONFORMS US TO THE IMAGE OF CHRIST JESUS.  DEEP SPIRITUAL LOVE FOR GOD AND OUR NEIGHBORS, BEGINS TO MANIFEST ITSELF THROUGH US, AS WE COME TO KNOW GOD IN THE FELLOWSHIP OF SUFFERING.

*Suffering for God’s Glory     **1 PETER 4:12-19 NKJV*   12/ Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13/ but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14/ If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15/ But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. 16/ Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. 17/ For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18/ Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 19/ Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
