• Black History Month, also known as African-American History Month in America, is an annual observance in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and in the Netherlands {as of 2016} where it is known as Black Achievement Month.
• It began as a way for remembering an important people and events in the history of the African diaspora.

WHO MUCH LATER CAME TO "THE NEW WORLD" {"THE AMERICAS"}, RECEIVED GUARANTEED PROMISES FROM EUROPEANS IN POWER, THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS BE HIGHER UP ON THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SCALE THAN THE SLAVES THAT THE ELITE EUROPEANS WERE IMPORTING FROM WEST AFRICA. NO MATTER HOW POOR, UNEDUCATED, OR PHYSICALLY UNATTRACTIVE A EUROPEAN {WHITE} MALE {FORMER} PEASANT WAS, HE WAS ASSURED STATUTORY AND UNSPOKEN PRIVILEGES {WHITE PRIVILEGE} IN "THE NEW WORLD" {AMERICA} AND WOULD CONTROL THE AFRICANS LIKE THE ELITE EUROPEANS ONCE CONTROLED HIM. IN ORDER FOR THIS TO BE ESTABLISHED, THE ELITE EUROPEANS  HAD TO SIMULTANEOULY DEHUMANIZE AND SUBJUGATE WEST AFRICANS THROUGH IMPERIAL INDOCTRINATION AND BARBARIC, SAVAGE TREATMENT.

EUROPEAN AND EUROPEAN/WHITE AMERICAN CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES, SHAMEFULLY BOMBARDED THE AFRICAN AND AMERICAN CONTINENTS WITH THEIR VERSIONS OF THE HOLY BIBLE. THEY ALSO BEGAN SPREADING A NEW IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST TO CONVERT SOULS TO CHRISTIANITY WHILE AT THE SAME TIME SUBTLY PROMOTING WHITE SUPREMACY, WHICH IS STILL TO SOME EXTENT BEING DONE TODAY! 

THE WHITE JESUS CHRIST IMAGES WERE/ARE MEANT TO FORCE PEOPLE OF AFRICAN (AND LATIN) DESCENT TO WORSHIP AND SERVE A MAN WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE PEOPLE COMMITTING GENOCIDE AGAINST THEM. ONCE A VAST MAJORITY OF THE AFRICAN POPULATION WERE CONVINCED THAT THIS EUROPEAN WHITE JESUS WAS THEIR SAVIOR THEY WERE OFFICIALLY CONQUERED. EUROPEAN AMERICANS MADE IT A CRIMINAL ACT FOR AFRICANS TO LEARN HOW TO READ AND WRITE {IN SOME STATES THESE LAWS LASTED UNTIL THE 1950S} SO THEY COULD NOT SEE THE TRUTH IN THE BIBLE WHICH WHITE SUPREMACISTS DISGRACEFULLY CLAIM TO BE THEIR OWN BOOK THAT CONDONES AND JUSTIFIES THEIR EVIL, UNGODLY, MURDEROUS ACTIONS AGAINST BLACKS AND OTHER NON-WHITE PEOPLE.

The Copts, Coptic: are an ethnoreligious group indigenous to North Africa who primarily inhabit the area of modern Egypt, where they are the largest Christian denomination in the country. Copts are also the largest Christian adherent group in Sudan and Libya.

According to ancient tradition, Christianity was introduced within present day Egypt by Saint Mark in Alexandria, shortly after the ascension of Christ and during the reign of the Roman emperor Claudius around 42 AD.

The legacy that Saint Mark left in Egypt was a considerable Christian community in Alexandria. From Alexandria, Christianity spread throughout Egypt within half a century of Saint Mark's arrival in Alexandria, as is clear from a fragment of the Gospel of John, written in Coptic, which was found in Upper Egypt and can be dated to the first half of the 2nd century, and the New Testament writings found in Oxyrhynchus, in Middle Egypt, which date around the year 200 AD. In the 2nd century, Christianity began to spread to the rural areas, and scriptures were translated into the local language, today known as the Coptic language, but known as the Egyptian language at the time. By the beginning of the 3rd century AD, Christians constituted the majority of Egypt’s population, and the Church of Alexandria was recognized as one of Christendom's four Apostolic Sees. The Church of Alexandria is therefore the oldest Christian church in Africa.

• Black History Month is celebrated annually in the United States and Canada in February, as well as in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands in October. 





Katherine Coleman Goble Johnson (born August 26, 1918) is an African-American mathematician who made contributions to the United States' aeronautics and space programs with the early application of digital electronic computers at NASA.

• Known for accuracy in computerized celestial navigation, she conducted technical work at NASA that spanned decades. 
• Hired by NACA: June 1953
• Retired from NASA: 1986
• During this time, she calculated the trajectories, launch windows, and emergency back-up return paths for many flights from Project Mercury, including the early NASA missions of Alan Shepard and John Glenn, and the 1969 Apollo 11 flight to the Moon, through the Space Shuttle program.
• Her calculations were critical to the success of these missions.
• Johnson also performed calculations for the plans for a mission to Mars.
• In 2015, President Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor.

Mary Winston Jackson (1921–2005) was an African American mathematician and aerospace engineer at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), which in 1958 was succeeded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She successfully overcame the barriers of segregation and gender bias to become a professional aerospace engineer and leader in ensuring equal opportunities for future generations.

• Hometown: Hampton, VA 
• Education: B.S., Mathematics and Physical Science, Hampton Institute, 1942
• Hired by NACA: April 1951
• Retired from NASA: 1985
• Date of Death: February 11, 2005 

A 1976 Langley Researcher profile referred to Mary Jackson’s spirit and character, as a “gentlelady, wife and mother, humanitarian and scientist.”

For Mary Jackson, science and service went hand in hand.

• Mae Carol Jemison (born October 17, 1956) is an American engineer, physician and NASA astronaut. She became the first African American woman to travel in space when she went into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on September 12, 1992. Jemison took several small art objects from West African countries to symbolize that space belongs to all nations. Also on this flight, according to Bessie Coleman biographer Doris L. Rich, Jemison took into orbit a photo of Bessie Coleman — Coleman the very first African-American woman to ever fly an airplane.

There are more than 2 million businesses in the United States that are owned by African Americans, but most are small operations with very few employees. However, there are many Black-owned businesses that employ hundreds or thousands of people, and generate annual revenues of $100 million or more - some even generate billions.

Here are 5 of them that you probably never heard of:

• #1 - World Wide Technology Inc: Based in Maryland Heights, Missouri, this is a global IT company that serves the technology needs of large public and private organizations. Founded by David L. Steward, this company has long been the largest Black-owned business and has grown to more than $6.7 billion in annual revenue with more than 3,000 employees. Even more, they have more than 2 million square feet of warehousing, distribution and integration space. And yes, they are Black-owned!
• #2 - ACT-1 Group: Based in Torrance, California, this company provides staffing, human resources and management solutions to Fortune 500 companies in industries from entertainment to technology, and finance to biotech. Founded by Janice Bryant Howroyd, this company generates more than $2.2 billion a year! Not just Black-owned, also woman-owned!
• #3 - The Anderson-Dubose Company: Based in Lordstown, Ohio, this company provides logistics solutions and unparalleled service to the world's most elite corporations in the quick service industry. Founded by Warren E. Anderson, they have more than 400 employees, and generate more than $540 million in annual revenue. Black-owned - check!
• #4 - Global Alliance Automotive: Based in Detroit, Michigan, this company is a global automotive parts supplier. As a worldwide group of independent representation companies, they are an adequate contemporary answer to recent major structural changes within the automotive industry. They pull in about $520 million every year in revenue. Black-owned? Yes, indeed!
• #5 - Thompson Hospitality: Based in Reston, VA, this company is the largest minority-owned food service management company in the country. Founded by Warren M. Thompson, they were recognized in 2010 as "Company of the Year" by Black Enterprise Magazine. They have more than 4,000 employees, and their annual revenues are just shy of $500 million. Again, Black-owned!

FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT CALLED TO OWN LARGE CORPORATIONS, OR DO BIG BUSINESS, YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT BY GOD IN LIFE, IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT AS THOSE WHO ARE. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CALLING IN LIFE IS, AS LONG AS YOU REMAIN IN CHRIST YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD AND WILL RECEIVE A CROWN OF LIFE FROM HIM.
